Working at a childrens hospital has really opened my eyes in a lot of ways. I have to admit it is really hard to work at a place like that when you have children of your own. They are so innocent and shouldnt have to go through some of the things they do. You really never know when things can go wrong. Someone can be taken from you in an instint and it may or may not make any sense, but it is what is supposed to happen. One day your loved ones can be perfectly fine with no health problems or anything what so ever, and the next day they could just be gone.
Hold on to your loved ones and tell them every day how much you love them, because you never know what can happen in the next moment. Give your kids hugs and kisses as much as you can (even when they get older) and spend time with them doing things and going places. Teach your kids to be grateful. Teach your kids that it is okay to love and be loved in return, (its shocking to find some people have a hard time with that). Pick your battles. Something may make you angry at the time and you may be so upset with someone for whatever reason, but think to yourself first... is this really that big of a deal? Can we work this out without arguing? You will be surprised just how easily you can let things go when you realize the really important things and people in life. FAMILY AND FRIENDS. LOVE. FAITH. HOPE. SUPPORT AND STRENGTH.
I love my friends and family so much and really apprieciate what they do for me. I am thankful every day for them and i am especially thankful for my great husband and wonderful two kids. I couldnt imagine my life any other way. My boys are my world.
P.S. some of these pics are quite old but I just wanted to post them anyway, they were relevant to my post. :)
