Car Situation and Kindergarten Decisions

So the car situation has gotten better and worse at the same time. I sold my car which is good news, but haven't gotten a new one yet. Till I do Tyler and I will be "sharing" his truck. Awesome!!! But ya know this has actually been a bit of a humbling experience for us. It is giving the us the chance to save a bit of extra money and we are realizing just how nice we have it. Some married couples always only have one car. So till I get one this is our situation. I will update when we decide to get one.

On another note, Oklan will be starting kindergarten this upcoming school year! We went back and forth on what we should do and after "parent teacher conferences" with his preschool teacher and some long talks and deep thinking we have decided to put him through! He is doing so well in the academic part and is doing a lot better with the separation anxiety part. With his school work he catches on so well and just loves to learn. He blew us away when he started READING on his own to his own little self without realizing we could hear him. And he can count to 100, he knows all of his colors in english and spanish and he can count to 10 in spanish and is just a more well rounded student all together. He is also so sweet and good with the other kids I swear they just gravitate to him!

So this friday is kindergarten registration and orientation. He will be going to a brand new school out here and it looks really nice! Plus I have heard great things about it. When I called to get him on the list I asked if he met the deadline since his birthday in sep. 1st and we were both laughing because he barely made it by literally one day! It says any birth date after sep. 1st would have to go to the next year. (so from sep.2nd on....) So funny! It must be a sign. Anyway, that is it for now!

Have a great day!!

Yeah the one car thing really sucks. We did it for like 9 months and I went crazy!!! Hopefully you get one soon. I can't believe you have a kid old enough to be in kindergarten!!!
