Oklan started 1st grade last week and it was great! I was pretty nervous because he went from half day to full day in just 6 weeks, and he had a bit of a hard time in the beginning of kindergarten. But he loved it from the get go, we got to school the first day quite a bit early and he just put his backpack down, found a few friends and off he was to the playground. I was like...ummm really? that's awesome! Then I just chatted with a few other moms and dads till the bell rang and up he came to the line, grabbed his bag, gave me a kiss, said hi to the teacher and in they went. I was so happy for him! Every day after that was good and I just cannot express to you how great it makes us feel. Amazing how fast they grow, he gained so much independence and self confidence over the last few months and it helps that his 1st grade teacher is really good!

Oh my goodness. He look so big. Really! He does, and so grown up. I am so happy for you guys. Yay for good teachers, they make all the difference. Love you so much!
