Family Vaca to Bear Lake

Gage and Oke

For Christmas last year, one of the gifts my parents gave all of us kids and the whole family was a trip to Bear Lake for September. We were so excited and counting down the days for when we got to go. I remembered going when I was younger and we always had so much fun. It's nice because it is only a little over 2 hours away and the place we stayed at was a full on resort basically!

We stayed in a cute little condo type place and right off the back balcony you could see straight across to the lake. You could go down the stairs in the back and it was just a huge field of grass where they had volleyball courts and miniature golf, then if you keep walking there is the beach with a huge playground and swings, then the lake. There was also tennis courts, 2 pools, Jacuzzis' and a sauna. There was never a dull moment! We played volleyball almost everyday which was hilarious and super fun all at the same time! We played kick ball, races, went boating, ate yummy food, and played games. Also, there was a little gas station where we could rent movies so on the chill nights we watched a few movies.

One night the boys and girls even made little poems and sang them if front of us it was so cute and the kids had so much fun (I have a video of it but I can't find the cord so until I do you have to imagine how cute it was). And another night the girls were all painting their nails so the boys were kind of making fun of them, but really we knew they wanted to do it as well hahaha or at least be included. So, Ty being the great sport he is let the boys paint his toenails all wacky colors. Such a great sport! Minus pretty much all of us getting sick for a few of the days with all different stuff, mostly colds but Oke and Lis got strep :(, and Kate got an ear infection so we had to take a few trips to the Bear Lake health center. But I think everyone else just had nasty colds, it was still such a blast and I just love spending time with my family and going on vacations with them!
