Easter!!

Easter was fun as usual! The kids got spoiled by the Easter bunny again! Mainly because of how great they have been with their baby brother :)

Easter morning we did our usual hunt here at the house and the kids went through their treasures. And we talked a little bit about the true meaning of Easter. Then, we made our way to Steve and Glenda's for brunch and an egg hunt. And finished off the holiday with dinner and ANOTHER egg hunt at my mom and dads. It was fun to take Trace out and about even though he had no clue what was going on....But since I hadn't really taken him out much to avoid sicknesses, it felt really good to, especially as a family :)

I would say the highlight of the holiday was when Oke found the "Golden Egg" at my parents. Every year the Easter bunny puts a $20 in one of the eggs and it is sooo hard to find! Even us adults get to get in on this one and I think out of the 9+ years that we have been doing this tradition someone has only found it maybe 4 times. Well, this year Oke was on a mission! He and Gage were out there searching EVERYWHERE!! Finally all of a sudden Oke comes in saying he had found another egg but hadn't looked in it. So once he did you should have seen the look on his face! He was shocked, and we were proud of him for not giving up! He made out pretty good this year :)How funny is this kid?? ----^^^^
