Well we did it! We got rid of the binky! Jake was a trooper he hardly even noticed. He really did so much better than we thought! It made us realize that it really was more for us than him. The first night he only cried for about 10 mins then he just fell asleep, he woke up in the middle of the night once looking for it, but once he realized it was gone he just went back to sleep. Every day and night after that he was fine! Awesome. He has been COMPLETELY without it for exactly 5 days and for three days before that he only had it at night. I have to admit it made me a little sad the first couple days because it made me realize that he isn't a baby anymore :( It's okay though I got over it! Soooo so long binky! Yaaay!
