Jake is finally 100% potty trained! Yay!!! We started with him about 2 weeks ago just putting him on the cute CARS potty seat his aunt jentrie got him and after he flipped out for a few minutes, he realized it was actually pretty cool! He didn't go the first time but I wanted to get him familiar with it and so he wouldn't be scared of it anymore. Then I put him on there the second time and he went! WE were so excited and proud of him we were like jumping up and down..my heck you would have thought we had just won the lottery (nerds).
Then over time it just got easier and easier for him, he would even go on the regular "white seat as he calls it :)" and last week he started to tell us on his own so we would go in there and help him. Then he eventually just started going all on his own. He would just run in whatever room me and ty were in and yell "I'm gonna go potty!". We would just be like..."okay!!???" So awesome! We are so happy for him..and lets be honest here.. ourselves :)

Yay Jakey! That really is like winning the lottery. All the money you'll save on diapers. Wow! Really huge milestone. Proud of you Jake.
ON another note. I can't help but go over and over in my head the conversation we had a few weeks ago when we were talking about Brinklee, and Oklan could hear what we were saying. ONe of his responses was, "she doesn't know any better". That is just so sweet of him and so mature. He is such a good boy. I miss you guys!
