Oklan really wanted to play basketball this year and we were really excited for him! I signed him up feeling a little reluctant because we don't have a real basketball hoop, so the only basketball playing that was going on was when he played at recess at school. But he was so happy and ready so we went ahead and signed him up for Jr Jazz. My brother was the coach and Ty was the assistant coach, and my nephew Gage was on the team as well and a couple of their buddies from school.
The first 2 weeks were clinic days then the games started and they were every Saturday. The first game the kids didn't quite have the hang of it and got hurt a couple times, and some of the other kids were pretty big for their age! So they didn't really know what to think but by the 2nd and 3rd game and so on they really got the hang of it and loved it! These little 6 and 7 year olds are pretty dang good I was surprised! We are so proud of you Oklan you are such an optimistic and happy child and we feel so blessed. Thank you for playing your little heart out, having such great sportsmanship and entertaining us! Can't wait till next year :)
Yay for me for finally uploading a video onto my blog! It's from my phone so not the best quality..but YAY! None the less :)
On another note...It's Valentines day! Happy Valentines Day everyone!
This is what my boys got me for valentines day..picked it out all by themselves too. A smiley face coffee mug. MADE. MY. DAY.

What a stud! I cannot believe how big he is getting. He looks so tall to me. He is a good boy and so loving. I love his little input whenever we talk on the phone. He is so grown-up. I miss you guys like crazy. Thanks for updating, even though I wish it was more. But you have been awesome. It is nice living away and peeking into what is going on with the family. Makes me feel like I am sort-of a part of everything that is going on. I love you guys so pieces. And miss out on so much. Lately I have been really lonesome for you guys. Love ya
